The Central Press Journalist Association (CPJA), established in 2020, is a national, registered body dedicated to defending the rights and welfare of journalists across India. We stand as the first association in India to provide financial benefits to journalists through our innovative platform, KyaNews — a hyper-local news platform that enables journalists to earn while reporting at the grassroots level.

Our commitment is to protect press freedom, uphold the rights of every journalist, and ensure they are equipped to face the challenges of this dynamic profession. We focus on creating a strong, united network of journalists at every level, from tehsil to national, empowering them to do their work without fear or favor.
